Fallout 4 eGuide STAT Perks

Endurance-Related Perks

Endurance Training

Endurance is a measure of your overall physical fitness. It affects your total Health and the Action Point drain from sprinting. Health is the amount of damage you can take before dying, and a higher Health is more helpful if you like to charge into battle rather than lurk and shoot from a distance. As Action Points (APs) and sprinting are both incredibly important, having larger reserves of APs (and therefore the ability to sprint greater distances) is most helpful.

Get fit! Spend a Perk Point and instantly gain 1 point of Endurance to a maximum of 10.

There are no requirements for the training in this attribute.

Level 01: Toughness

If nothing else, you can take a beating! Assuming you’ll be dealing with more than simple foul language hurled in your direction, gaining a permanent bolster to your Damage Resistance is just like having a thick skin of armor. A fantastic way to spend a Perk Point or five.

rankRequirementsdescription

1

END 1

Instantly gain +10 Damage Resistance.

2

Level 9, END 1

You now have +20 Damage Resistance.

3

Level 18, END 1

You now have +30 Damage Resistance.

4

Level 31, END 1

You now have +40 Damage Resistance.

5

Level 46, END 1

You now have +50 Damage Resistance.

Level 02: Lead Belly

Your digestive tract has adjusted to the weirdness of the Wasteland! Are you sick of stimpaks? Detest chemistry stations and making your own chems, or constantly scavenging for them? Then look for comestibles and water sources throughout the Commonwealth without the usual “distaste”! Take this perk or ones that help you when you use chems (like Chem Resistant or Chemist).

rankRequirementsdescription

1

END 2

Take less radiation from eating or drinking.

2

Level 6, END 2

You take even less radiation from eating or drinking.

3

Level 17, END 2

You take no radiation from eating or drinking.

Level 03: Life Giver

You embody wellness! You also receive an instant Health increase, which has no downsides (except it takes slightly longer to inflict Nerd Rage! on a set of foes). If you need extra Health, this is a must-take perk.

rankRequirementsdescription

1

END 3

Instantly gain +20 maximum Health.

2

Level 8, END 3

You instantly gain another +20 maximum Health.

3

Level 20, END 3

You instantly gain another +20 maximum Health and slowly regenerate lost Health.

Level 04: Chem Resistant

All the rush without the hassle! Can’t get enough of Jet, Psycho, or Buffout (or any other chem, including the ones you’ve made yourself at a chemistry station)? Then lessen (and finally remove) the downside of chem addiction completely. This is essential if you plan on enhancing your routines with chems.

rankRequirementsdescription

1

END 4

You’re 50 percent less likely to get addicted when consuming chems.

2

Level 22, END 4

You gain complete immunity to chem addiction.

Level 05: Aquaboy / Aquagirl

Water is your ally. The Commonwealth has an impressive amount of it. Whether you’re swimming the lakes or exploring the depths of the ocean, having the ability to use stealth and not suffer any ill effects from water is a most impressive feat indeed. It allows escape in any direction and sneak attacks on shoreline strongholds.

rankRequirementsdescription

1

END 5

You no longer take radiation damage from swimming and can breathe underwater.

2

Level 21, END 5

You become totally undetectable while submerged.

Level 06: Rad Resistant

Exposure to the Wasteland has made you more resilient. It also makes you less keen on consuming Rad-X, as this chem isn’t anywhere near as necessary; so trade any you find before marching off into irradiated ponds or the infamous Glowing Sea.

rankRequirementsdescription

1

END 6

You are instantly granted +10 Radiation Resistance.

2

Level 13, END 6

You now have +20 Radiation Resistance.

3

Level 26, END 6

You now have +30 Radiation Resistance.

4

Level 35, END 6

You now have +40 Radiation Resistance.
* Expanded perk rank made available with Far Harbor DLC

Level 07: Adamantium Skeleton

Your skeleton has been infused with indestructible metal, which lessens the hobbling problems associated with crippling injuries. Sometimes your limbs are struck by foes, but most of the time such damage is caused by falling. Seek medical attention (or a bed) far less often than normal by choosing this perk.

rankRequirementsdescription

1

END 7

Your limb damage is reduced by 30 percent.

2

Level 13, END 7

Your limb damage is now reduced by 60 percent.

3

Level 26, END 7

Your limb damage is completely eliminated.

Level 08: Cannibal

Feast on mortal flesh to heal your wounds! But don’t do it around any polite folk (including companions, who aren’t fans of chowing down on humans, Ghouls, or greenskin flesh), as you aren’t seen in the best of lights. This is a good alternative to other forms of sustenance, though it requires you to be less caring in the way others perceive you. There’s a chance you’ll be openly attacked if you’re gnawing on a citizen who lived in the establishment you’re feasting at, too. So have some decorum, please!

rankRequirementsdescription

1

END 8

Eating human corpses restores Health.

2

Level 19, END 8

Eating Ghoul or Super Mutant corpses restores Health.

3

Level 38, END 8

Eating human, Ghoul, or Super Mutant corpses now restores a significant amount of Health.

Level 09: Ghoulish

Sure, you’re still human—on the outside! Inside, though, you’re seemingly part Ghoul, which doesn’t have a downside, except that the perk doesn’t function away from radiation. This negates any Rad-X you may need to take (allowing you to sell it instead), and you can venture into the Glowing Sea in just your skivvies if you wish. Simply reference locations in this guide’s Map chapter that mention radiation (especially severe) and you have an additional “recharge” point!

rankRequirementsdescription

1

END 9

Radiation now regenerates your lost Health.

2

Level 24, END 9

Radiation now regenerates even more of your lost Health.

3

Level 48, END 9

Radiation now regenerates even more of your lost Health, and some Feral Ghouls will randomly become friendly.

Level 10: Solar Powered

Catch some rays! A good perk for the extra melee damage, carry weight, Health, and Action Points you receive. When you’re finally able to regenerate Health, combine this with Adamantium Skeleton (which heals limb damage) and snoozing on a bed during the night. Focus all your exploration during daytime hours.

rankRequirementsdescription

1

END 10

2

Level 27, END 10

Sunlight slowly heals your radiation damage.

3

Level 50, END 10

Sunlight regenerates your lost Health.
