Even the most cautious adventurers need a little extra help from time to time. Luckily, you’ll find a wide variety of consumables and single-use devices that can help you survive hostile gangs, radiation storms, and anything else the Commonwealth throws at you. Be warned: many aid items have addictive properties. Each time you consume alcohol, performance-enhancing chems, and even some food items, you increase your chances of developing an addiction.
Many aid items grant bonuses or penalties that last several minutes. Some effects last considerably longer. Use your Pip-Boy’s Status tab to review the effects of any aid items that are currently in your system.
