It seems the Institute is ready to reveal itself to those dwelling topside. To ensure a peaceful coexistence, you’re to record a broadcast once the Institute’s reactor is turned on. Speak with Father and record the speech in his quarters. The oratory style is up to you.
Teleport to Diamond City Market and travel to Diamond City Radio. You’re here to modify the transmitter; fortunately there are radio parts in a crate. Slot them into the racks until the transmitter’s power is increased.
After a quick trip back to the Institute, head to Institute Advanced Systems and find the door to the reactor. If you’re in agreement with Father, open the reactor door and activate the core. Then access the terminal and initiate the reactor start-up sequence.

Now that the reactor is humming away, a directorate meeting is called, and you’re here to answer any questions posed by the Division heads. You must decide where to focus the development manpower: on weapon development (better armaments for you) or on synth production (more friendly troops by your side). Whatever your choice, you’ve successfully allied with the Institute, to the detriment of your relationships with other factions.
