Fallout 4 eGuide DLC Far Harbor Overview

Armor

Simple garments are great for settlement life, but they aren’t particularly effective in combat situations. Luckily, the Island’s inhabitants also utilize some all-new armor pieces.

Marine Armor

Marine Armor balances damage resistance and energy resistance to offer the best protection available outside of Power Armor. This heavy armor is favored by the Children of Atom in and around the Nucleus, but you can find or purchase pieces at locations throughout the Island.

Trapper Armor

Trapper Armor balances damage resistance and energy resistance, but it falls short of the protection offered by a set of Marine Armor. Still, Trapper Armor pieces are versatile and easily acquired, making them excellent apparel options for the Island’s new arrivals.

New Legendary Armor Effects

Defeat Legendary enemies and complete available quests for a chance to earn apparel items with powerful new effects.

Aid Items

The Island contains a variety of new wildlife, so you’re sure to encounter meat and pants that can’t be found in the Commonwealth. These items can be consumed raw, but most of them can also be used to craft meals and chems that grant powerful bonus effects. Appropriate workstations automatically feature some of the simpler concoctions, but you’ll need to track down local recipes to craft some of the Island’s more powerful aid items.

Nuka Cola might be the Commonwealth’s prewar beverage of choice, but on the Island, you’ll find that Vim! soda pop is much more ubiquitous. This caffeinated beverage comes in a variety of flavors, all of which can be used to give a weary traveler a temporary boost.
