Diamond City’s Most Wanted*
1. Miscellaneous: Clear the [enemies] from the [random location]
If you want a challenge, look for the “Wanted” poster on the wall in Diamond City, inside the security office and inside the entrance hall of the Dugout Inn (shown). If there’s a note, read it.
It requires you to remove a tagged foe or foes from a random location. In this example, it is a Super Mutant from inside the Wilson Atomatoys Corporate HQ. The quest completes when you neutralize the foe.
Home Run!
Try running the bases, beginning at home plate near the entrance of Diamond City.
Painting the Town
1. Search the Hardware Store for Paint
2. Return to Abbot
3. Apply paint to the Wall
Abbot in Diamond City wants you to find paint for the city’s wall. There’s a place called Hardware Town where you can start looking.
Enter Hardware Town. Beware of Raiders, especially the one named “Demo.” Find the blue and yellow paint. You can:
Use the paint mixer to make green paint. Or not.
Back with Abbot, paint the wall in any of the three colors you wish. Green is what Abbot requests, however. You can also complete this quest by finding the paint before speaking to Abbot.
Brother Against Brother*
This is only available prior to locating Nick Valentine during Main Quest: Unlikely Valentine. You may see two Diamond City inhabitants with one brother (Kyle) pointing a gun at the other (Riley), claiming he’s a synth! You can:
- Shoot Riley.
- Or wait until Diamond City Security shoots Riley.
Afterward, speak to the remaining brother or the security guard if you wish.
Home Plate*
1. Miscellaneous: Visit your home in Diamond City
Visit Geneva in the mayor’s office, and offer to purchase a residence in this location. Hand over 2,000 Caps, and you receive the following:
Find your residence—called Home Plate—next to the Chem-I-Care store. There is a workshop here, and you can place furniture, decorations, and power items.
New Hair, New Face*
Head to Cathy and John’s Super Salon for a haircut to change your style.
Visit Doctor Sun and the Mega Surgery Center to change your face.
Botany Class*
1. Miscell1aneous: Bring a mutated fern flower to Solomon
Talk to Solomon, the proprietor of the Chem-I-Care store. Ask for work. He requests you find a rare mutated fern.
Travel to Forest Grove Marsh. Locate the mutated fern flower. Beware of Feral Ghouls. Return to Solomon for the chem and Caps reward.
Pool Cleaning*
1. Miscellaneous: Clean the Water Supply (5)
2. Miscellaneous: Return to Sheng
Head to the reservoir and speak to Sheng Kowalski. Agree to help.
Gather the detritus from the murky waters. Return to Sheng for your reward.
Fly Fishing*
1. Miscellaneous: Bring a Bloatfly Gland to Doctor Duff
Head to the Science! Center, and listen to Doctor Duff’s remarks. Offer to go on the field trip.
Defeat a Bloatfly anywhere. In this example, one was defeated at the Boston Police rationing site. Return to Duff and claim your reward.
Out in Left Field
1. Find a signed baseball
2. Find a signed catcher’s mitt
3. Find a signed baseball card
4. Return to Moe Cronin
Moe Cronin in Diamond City wants you to find three baseball relics said to have been left behind in the old Westing Estate. Offer to find them.
Enter the remains of the Westing Estate. Beware of Mirelurks. Find the three relics in a safe (Novice), toolbox, and chem cooler.
Return to Moe and accept your reward.
World Series Win*
Visit Jamaica Plain. Beware of Feral Ghouls. Enter the Jamaica Plain Town Hall Basement. Complete Location Quest: Treasures of Jamaica Plain. Obtain the following from the treasure room:
2076 WORLD SERIES Baseball Bat
Return to Diamond City. Speak to Moe Cronin at Swatters, and tell him you have a 2076 World Series Bat. Sell it to him.
Story of the Century
1. Go to Piper’s office
2. Talk to Piper
3. Get the Latest Issue of Publick Occurrences
Locate Piper after you enter Diamond City for the first time. Go to Publick Occurrences and talk to Piper when she’s there (check inside). Agree to the interview. Answer the three questions as you wish. When you next return to Diamond City, talk to Nat for the latest edition with your interview in it. The article differs depending on your answers.

Nuka-Cola Needs*
1. Miscellaneous: Give Sheffield a Nuka-Cola
Locate Sheffield the downtrodden. Hand him a Nuka-Cola. Then optionally tell him to join any of your settlements.
Wedding Day*
Visit the Diamond City schoolhouse. Talk to Miss Edna. When she asks you about love, tell her “love conquers all.”
Leave Diamond City and return. The next time you visit, Miss Edna and Mister Zwicky are being married in front of the chapel.
In Sheep’s Clothing
1. Confront Mayor McDonough
2. (Optional) Save Danny Sullivan
This quest is only accessible once the Institute reactor is online (during the Main Quest), and you must have sided with a faction other than the Institute (you should have been kicked out). Keep visiting Diamond City until you see Danny Sullivan, badly wounded by the sign for the mayor’s office. You can:
- Speak to Danny and offer him a stimpak.
- (Curie) Ask Curie to administer help.
- Locate Doc Crocker or Doctor Sun to help.
- Tell Danny he’s better off dead.
- Or ignore him. He dies if you resolve the crisis with the mayor
Take the elevator up to the reception office. Piper is there, but the door is locked. You can:
- (Novice) Pick the lock
- Or use the button under the desk to open the door.
Once inside, confront the mayor. You can:
- Attack and kill him.
- Accept his terms and he walks free.
The quest concludes. The next time you’re in Diamond City, pick up a copy of Publick Occurrences for news of how this all went down.
Holidays*
For some festive spirit, be sure to visit Diamond City on Halloween (10/31) and Christmas (12/25). The dates are available on your Pip-Boy (easily seen when you are waiting).
Diamond City: End Game
Once you complete the Main Quest, you start to see a couple members from the faction you aligned with; they appear in Diamond City. In this example, it is a Brotherhood of Steel Knight. Expect different greetings from residents, and a Publick Occurrence based on the victorious faction (Brotherhood of Steel, the Institute, the Minutemen, or the Railroad).
