Locations to Explore
  • General Atomics Factory A Call for Help

Ada claims to have seen the Mechanist’s robots at the General Atomics Factory. It’s the only lead at the moment, so travel to the neighborhood of South Boston and search the factory for clues. Enter the factory and continue to the assembly floor north of the reception area. Hack the terminal (Novice) to open the security doors to the east, or climb up to the conveyer belt and drop down into the room beyond the locked doors.

Use the stairs to the east to reach the factory’s second floor. Exit the office at the top of the stairs and locate the security gates to the south. Access the nearby terminal, open the gates, and neutralize the Robobrain waiting inside.

Collect the Mechanist Device from the Robobrain’s remains and speak to Ada. She believes this device is a Radar Beacon that could help pinpoint the Mechanist’s location. After a brief analysis, Ada asks you to integrate the device into her own systems. This procedure requires the use of a Robot Workbench; if you haven’t already built one, you must do so before you can continue the search for the Mechanist.
