Begin (or complete) Main Quest: Reunions to cement your partnership with Nick, then travel to any settlement or major city to discover a broadcast from Valentine's Detective Agency. Tune into the broadcast and/or visit Ellie at Nick’s office in Diamond City, then accept the case and follow the available leads to gain passage to Far Harbor.
The choices you make during your investigation have a significant effect on the fate of the Island. The tasks you undertake—and the methods you utilize—can present new opportunities, but they can also prevent you from completing active quests. Even within a single faction, solidifying one alliance often means breaking another. Always remember that your actions have consequences.
