Kings of the Castle
Once the Minutemen are established at Sanctuary, and you’ve completed a few Radiant quests for Preston Garvey, he thinks it’s time for the Minutemen to retake “the Castle,” an old fort that used to be their main base of operations. Travel to the remains of the snack shop outside the perimeter of the Castle, located in South Boston (feel free to navigate around Boston city). Preston has gathered some Minutemen and wants to know your opinion on a plan of attack. Choose from the following:
- Pincer attack: Like to sneak? Try this more subtle approach.
- Draw them out: Enjoy sniping? Attack from afar.
- Guns blazing: Think tactics are for brainiacs? Charge!
Navigate toward the Castle, and clear the main courtyard of any irradiated aquatic life.
Now to remove any hatchlings. Look to your Pip-Boy compass and destroy all the marked egg clutches. Oh dear. It seems that while you were clearing the eggs from the Castle, the beast that hatched them rose from the depths and is none too pleased. Remove this huge threat, finish destroying any remaining egg clutches, and claim this Castle!
Power up the old radio transmitter by building some generators. Attach wires from the transmitter to each generator so it is powered.
