Searchers After Horror Haunt Strange, Far Places
While in Diamond City Market, visit the Dugout Inn and speak to a friendly Ghoul named Edward Deegan. He has some work for you to agree to, as well as the name of the man who’s hiring—Jack Cabot.
Mosey on over to the Beacon Hill Neighborhood in northeast Boston and locate the impressively intact Cabot House.
Activate the intercom. Mention Jack Cabot by name and you’re let in and introductions are made. Feel free to ask any questions before agreeing to your first mission. You receive a key allowing free passage to and from this residence.
Cabot House Key
You’re supposed to recover a missing “package.” Edward suggested that the guard captain at Parsons State Insane Asylum may know where to start looking for it. Travel roughly north into the Commonwealth, to the ominous-looking structure.
Meet Maria the guard captain at the main entrance door. Mention Edward sent you and you’re given the location of some Raiders at the adjacent creamery. Head there and remove the Raider marked on your Pip-Boy. They are carrying an item most interesting:

Return to Cabot House and chat to Edward. You can:
