Something Wicked This Way Comes
Did you hear the latest broadcast from Trinity Tower Radio? Tune your Pip-Boy when you can receive the signal. A good place to try for a signal is in Diamond City Market or close to Trinity Tower. Or, if you’re traveling in the southwest Commonwealth, visit WRVR Broadcast Station, where the folks there have Rex’s broadcast on a loop. He’s begging to be rescued from super mutants who have taken him captive in Trinity Tower.
Enter the plaza area at the base of the skyscraper, and rid yourself of any Super Mutants and Mutant Hounds. Ride the elevator to the middle interior. Make slow but steady progress up through the Super Mutants until you arrive at a second elevator. Ride that up to the exposed top of the structure. Fight more Super Mutants, ascending to the open skyscraper roof.
Hover Through Fog and Filthy Air
Locate the cage where Rex Goodman and his Super Mutant friend Strong are imprisoned. Unlock the cage by:
- (Master) Using your extreme skill.
- Using your regular cunning by taking the Trinity Tower Cell Key from the nearby steamer trunk and using it.
Trinity Tower Cell Key
The only way back down, aside from a death plummet, is to battle to the window-washer lift. Press the button once the three of you are on it. Ride this down while laying suppressing fire on the Super Mutants you can see. Repeat this plan until all threats are abated and you’re on the ground level. Back on terra firma, with anything green except Strong dispatched, speak to Rex. While he returns to his career in the WRVR building, Strong is available to become a companion.
