- Armor workbenches: Use these workbenches to modify, rename, or scrap customizable apparel. Invest in all available ranks of the Armorer and Science! perks to take full advantage of armor workbenches.
- Chemistry stations: Use these workstations to craft chems, explosives, Syringer ammo, and cutting fluid. Rank 1 of the Chemist perk is required to craft advanced chems. If explosives pique your interest, invest heavily in the Demolition Expert and Science! perks—it takes considerable skill to craft the most advanced mines and grenades.
- Cooking stations: Use these workstations to craft food, drink, and vegetable starch. Cooking doesn’t require any special perks, but you’ll need a steady supply of fresh ingredients to stay well fed. Many of the fruits, vegetables, and meat you collect can be used to prepare dishes that are safer and more satisfying than anything you’ll find in the wild.
