Powering Down Boston Airport
Contact the Brotherhood of Steel next and minimize their machinations. You need a plan to accomplish this: Visit Doctor Li (or, if she is not present, Evan Watson), in Institute Advanced Systems, and say “it’s time.” The enthusiastic Doctor Rosalind Orman explains the plan and hands some teleport beacons to bring synths to help you if necessary.
Institute Beacon (3)
Relay over to Boston Airport, south of East Boston. Infiltrate the airport terminal via this hole in the wall. Employ stealth during this time or expect resistance to your maneuvers.
You’re here to destroy three generators. The Boston Airport map shows the exact location of each of them. Expect to receive returning fire from turrets and other entities. The generators can be bombed or shot at from any distance and in any order:
- The first is at the far side of a Vertibird landing pad.
- The second is guarded by a Protectron and turrets atop the control tower.
- The third is at one end of a skywalk leading to Liberty Prime.
Hack Attack
With the Brotherhood’s defenses compromised, a synth reaches the top of Liberty Prime and sets about reprogramming. Your job is to keep this synth intact and uploading the virus. Defend the area around Liberty Prime during this time.
Once the synth hacking Liberty Prime has reached 100 percent, break off the confrontation and immediately evacuate the vicinity. Head to the ground, and back away to the north.
