The Fate of Doctor Brian Virgil
This quest becomes available during Brotherhood of Steel Quest: Liberty Reprimed. You must also have completed Brotherhood of Steel Miscellaneous Quest: Duty or Dishonor. Aboard the Prydwen, speak to Lancer-Captain Kells for your orders. He believes Virgil to be a threat to the Brotherhood, who must be eliminated.
You have a number of different choices, some of which are related to Miscellaneous Quest: Curing Virgil.* If you want additional decisions, complete that optional quest). Then visit the Rocky Cave within the Glowing Sea.
Meet Virgil. You can:
- Already have killed him. Report immediately to Kells without traveling to the Glowing Sea.
- Attack and kill him. Beware of his Protectron and turrets.
- Speak to him, and agree to keep him alive and to lie to Kells.
Miscellaneous Quest: Curing Virgil*: Kill him after curing him with the serum. He is much easier to kill.
Miscellaneous Quest: Curing Virgil*: Cure him, and leave him alive (he cannot escape, as the radiation from the Glowing Sea would kill him). Now that Virgil has been dealt with, report back to Captain Kells. You can:
- Tell Kells that Virgil has been killed.
- (Lie) Tell Kells that Virgil has been killed, if you agreed to this with Virgil.
You receive a reward from Kells as this quest concludes.
