This plant operated at a loss and was almost ready to shut down in October 2077. This was partly due to mismanagement, but the waste runoff from the nearby General Atomics Factory may have been a factor.
The exterior yard features stacks of rusting containers, a pack of mongrels, and some unpleasant feral types. There is an impressive tripwire system that can only be disarmed during the specified quest; it seems to forewarn whoever is behind the strange gantry terminal (Master) directly above the main entrance.
Clear the roof of rotting undesirables, then ammo. Check the chimney stack gantry for a safe (Expert). Access the gantry terminal (Master) to reveal Marowski’s chem lab.
The interior offers a main area of pipes and conveyor belts to explore. There is also an infestation of ferals, especially in the sub-basement. Here you’ll also find a steamer trunk.
A local gangster’s secret laboratory helps chems flow through Goodneighbor like water. This secret lab is completely separate from the main plant interior. You can investigate the area during the specified quest (where you can obtain notes to shut off the laser tripwires and open the secret door), or you can try hacking the exterior terminal on the catwalk (Master) to get in.
