Infamy! Infamy! They’ve all got it in for me!

At the end of the lengthy Main Quest: Home Sweet Home, once the third of the Outposts has been established and there are a total of eight Raider Outposts both within and outside the Nuka-World Theme Park, Shank wishes to speak to you. It is a matter of urgency; one of the three Raider gangs has mutinied, ignored your decision-making, and has taken over the Nuka-World Power Plant. The actual gang that rebels depends on who you gave the previous territories to; it is always the gang with the fewest territories.

Head to the far western part of Nuka-World, with or without Raider support from the two gangs still friendly to you. Head to one of the exterior concrete hut offices, and speak with the gang leaders. All conversations lead to war with the traitors, who have entered and are holed up inside the power plant. Scale the hill to the plant, with the leaders in tow, and start a lengthy and brutal takedown of these foes.

A Cutthroat. A Killer. A Raider!

Start by checking the exterior area for enemy Raiders and bring them down before entering the power plant via the rear double doors. Normally, the interior of the plant is filled with Feral Ghouls, but now there are mostly Raiders of the hated traitor gang. Head down to the lower levels, watching for grenade traps, and attempting sneaking if you so desire. Head up the gantry ramps to the metal pod offices and slay more foes before continuing through the various concrete chambers. Watch for machinegun turrets while moving up some concrete steps, and continue up another long, metal gantry ramp to reach the ladder leading up to the roof.

The roof level is where the traitorous gang leader is located (or leaders if the Operators turned traitorous). Check the corpse of the gang leader for the Plant Control Room Key. Access the control room (it’s on the roof), and press the big red button. Electricity begins to flow throughout Nuka-World, as the power is restored! After a final chat with Gage, your rewards become accessible, and the Nuka-World Main Quest line is completed.

What are your just rewards for dealing with this insurrection and switching the power back on? You automatically receive two of the three possible perks (from the gangs that didn’t betray you):

  • The Disciples grant you the Chosen Disciple perk (kills with your melee weapons restore some Action Points).
  • The Operators grant you the Ace Operator perk (25% more damage using silenced weapons, 10% less visibility in shadows).
  • The Pack grant you the Pack Alpha perk (damage inflicted on you is reduced by 25% no matter which weapon you are using).

Now locate the leaders of the two surviving gangs. They each have a fine weapon to hand to you, so prepare to grab two of the three following weapons. You may wish to tailor your gang preferences to ensure the two weapons that best complement your play style are available:

  • The Disciples (Nisha) offer you the Disciples Blade. It has an Instigating legendary effect (deals double damage to foes with full health).
  • The Operators (Mags) offer you the Operators Sniper Rifle. It has a Relentless legendary effect (refills Action Points each time you critically hit).
  • The Pack (Mason) offer you the Pack Baseball Bat. It has a Furious legendary effect (inflicting increasing damage for each consecutive hit on the same foe).
