The Course of Ticonderoga Never Did Run Smooth
Once you complete Main Quest: Institutionalized but before Railroad Quest: Precipice of War has begun, Desdemona tells you that Institute Coursers have been spotted in the field. This means trouble. You’re asked to check on Ticonderoga Safehouse, which has gone dark.
Though you can thoroughly search the entirety of the building for synths, you only need dispatch the two Institute Coursers. Beware of machine-gun turrets, synths, and Coursers. Be sure to locate the Courser leader X9-27 and slay him. Exit and mop up any additional foes. Then inform Desdemona.
