A Modest Proposal
Your willingness to help the citizens of Far Harbor has impressed Teddy Wright, and he’s got a plan that should help you earn the respect of the entire town. Long ago, those hoping to lead Far Harbor participated in a rite known as the Captain’s Dance. Although completing the Captain’s Dance wouldn’t give a mainlander any special privileges in the town, it would almost certainly bolster your reputation with Far Harbor’s less trusting citizens.
Of Meat and Mirelurks
Teddy Wright offers a brief description of the Captain’s Dance, directs you toward a Mirelurk feasting ground, and promises to send someone to witness your ordeal. You’ll need two pieces of uncooked meat to lure your prey into the area. If you don’t have the supplies on hand, check the Far Harbor vendors for raw meat, or simply keep an eye out for suitable prey as you travel to the feeding grounds.
Make your way to the marked location and drop a piece of meat into the water. Defeat the Mirelurks that appear, then drop another piece of meat into the water to draw a second group of Mirelurks into the area. Once you’ve dealt with the new arrivals, a Mirelurk Queen emerges from the water.
Defeat the Mirelurk Queen, then return to Far Harbor. Word of your accomplishment has already reached Teddy Wright. The townsfolk have been gathered and a banquet has been prepared in your honor. Wait for Teddy to address the crowd, and then speak to him to receive a unique piece of headgear and a powerful aid item.
