3. Report your success to settlers at [the settlement]
4. Talk to Preston Garvey

This quest is also available from owned settlements. Visit the settlement and ask more about the problem. You’re pointed in the direction of [a random location] where the Ghouls lurk.
Visit the indicated Feral Ghoul haven. Wipe out the tagged foes and (optionally) any other of their brethren. Return to the settlement with victory assured before reporting back to Preston Garvey.
