Finding Kasumi

Enter Acadia and follow the ground-floor hallway until DiMA greets you. This charismatic synth is more than happy to answer your questions, but he also has a few of his own. Speak to DiMA until he points you toward Kasumi Nakano, use the stairwell near the building’s entrance to head down to the lower levels.

Kasumi is attempting to repair some machinery on Acadia’s lowest level (B2). Speak with her until she shares her concerns about DiMA’s secret meetings. Agree to help—or refuse until Kasumi offers to pay for your services—then set out to uncover whatever DiMA and his inner-circle might be up to.

Uncovering Secrets

Kasumi is determined to stay in Acadia until she finds out what secrets DiMA has been keeping. There are a few different methods you can use to acquire this information, each of which relies on a particular skill.

Method #1: Storage Stakeout

If you’re handy with a bobby pin, you shouldn’t have any trouble eavesdropping on DiMA’s next meeting. Leave Kasumi and move to the building’s north wall. Use a bobby pin to open the locked door (Expert), then enter the storage room, enter the hiding spot near the window, and wait for the secret meeting to begin.

Method #2: Cyber Sleuthing

If you’re an accomplished hacker, you can get the information you need from Faraday’s private Journal. Head back up to Acadia’s ground floor and hack Faraday’s Terminal (Master), then read his journal to learn what’s been discussed during DiMA’s secret meetings.

Method #3: Powerful Persuasion

If you’re a confident conversationalist, you can simply speak to DiMA about Kasumi’s accusations. Although he’d prefer to keep the details to himself, the right tact might convince DiMA to reveal the nature of his secret meetings.

Procuring the Program

DiMA’s most important memories are currently stored outside of Acadia, and Faraday has developed a program that should allow Chase to recover them. If you hope to set Kasumi’s mind at ease, you’ll need to get your hands on a copy of Faraday’s program. The method you employed during your investigation determines where the program is located:

  • If you eavesdropped on the meeting, you can collect the program from the desk in Faraday’s office.
  • If you hacked Faraday’s Terminal, you can download the program after reading his journal.
  • If you succeeded in persuading DiMA to discuss his secret meetings, he provides you with a copy of the program when your conversation ends.

Faraday’s Program

Once you’ve obtained Faraday’s Program, return to Kasumi and report what you’ve learned.
