The Battle for Fort Strong
Now that you’ve familiarized yourself with the Prydwen and her crew, meet Elder Maxson on the flight deck for your first mission. You’re to head out to nearby Fort Strong and cleanse it of all hostile Super Mutant forces. Step onto the Vertibird and man the minigun. Use this weapon to cut down the sizable Super Mutant roaming the exterior grounds of Fort Strong.
Alternatively, you can Fast-Travel elsewhere, or to Fort Strong, and engage the Super Mutant forces on foot.
Disembark and remove all indicated Super Mutant threats. Enter Fort Strong Armory and exterminate all hostiles on all floors of this location.
The only good greenskin is a dead one! After the red mist has receded, chat to Paladin Danse before returning to the Prydwen for an impressive reward (aerial Fast-Travel via Vertibird).
Return to the Prydwen, and answer Elder Maxson as you wish. You are awarded with the following (aerial Fast-Travel via Vertibird):
Vertibird Signal Grenade (8)

Depending on your progress through the Main Quest, the following quests are available:
- Brotherhood of Steel: From Within becomes available if you haven’t completed Main Quest: Institutionalized.
- Brotherhood of Steel: Outside the Wire becomes available if you have already completed Main Quest: Institutionalized.
