Nick asked for your help in recovering 10 Holotapes belonging to Eddie Winter. He thinks the Commonwealth’s police evidence terminals should be able to point you toward the tapes. You receive the first from Nick. Read the notes, and look at the world map for the locations of the remaining nine tapes.

Visit each of the following locations. At each one, find the police evidence terminal, and access the file on Eddie Winter. Then search the building for the Holotape.
Holotape Hunt: BADTFL Regional Office
Find this location in Charleston Neighborhood. Beware of Raiders. The tape is on a filing cabinet.

Holotape Hunt: Malden Center Police Station
Look for this unmarked location near Malden Center in North Central Commonwealth. The tape is on a desk.

Holotape Hunt: Quincy Police Station
Beware of Gunners (and their leader, Tessa). The tape is in a nearby locker.
Eddie Winter Holotape 3
Holotape Hunt: Natick Police Department
Watch out for the Deathclaw. The tape is inside an evidence locker.

Mow down the Super Mutants, Mutant Hounds, and Vicious Mongrels. The tape is on a safe.

The Winter of Your Discontent
After finding all of Eddie Winter’s Holotapes, turn them over to Nick. He’ll use the Holotapes to decipher the code to Eddie Winter’s bunker. Now it’s time to head to Andrew Station and put an end to Eddie. Fight the Raiders and descend into the subway tunnels and sewer passages. Search for a metal door with a keypad. Input the code Nick mentioned.
It’s time for Eddie Winter to face the music. Afterward, pry the small arms from his withered hands.
Unique Weapon: Eddie’s Peace
Afterward, Nick has one more matter to attend to. Exit via the ladder to Joe’s Spuckies Coffee Shop. Speak to Nick when he finds the location he’s looking for. Now continue your companionship with Nick until you reach the highest affinity, after which you receive the following Perk:
