On its own, clothing doesn’t offer much in the way of protection. However, these lightweight garments fit neatly under armor pieces. Many clothing options also grant bonus ranks to various S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats, making them valuable additions to combat-oriented ensembles.
Many clothing items can be modified to offer extra protection. You can craft mods for vault jumpsuits at any armor workbench, but you’ll need the Railroad’s help to add protective linings to most clothing items.
