Fallout 4 eGuide MAP Zone 15: Neighborhood: Financial District

Secondary Locations

[15.01] Weatherby Investment Trust

This abandoned skyscraper just north of Faneuil Hall borders North End. Enter via the bus, and check the terminal (Advanced) to open the wall safe (Expert) before using the elevator. Enter an interior mezzanine to a second upper elevator that deposits you on the roof. Gaze at the incredible views all the way to Lexington, across the district, and even to Quincy! If you’ve completed the specified quest, the building has a new “extension” to it.

[15.02] Congress Street Garage

Below the market stall and Freedom Trail to the west of Faneuil Hall is an exit from Haymarket Mall that leads into a two-level parking garage. Head down the ramp to find a safe (Advanced) and two working elevators.

Take the left elevator to ascend around five floors up to the blown-out shell of a building, close to the end of the collapsed freeway. Use the skybridge (head east) to reach the Commonwealth Bank upper access. Climb the stairs and maneuver around the girders until the platforms disappear. Access the freeway to the Garden Terrace if you wish. But watch your step!

Take the right elevator to ascend around 10 floors up to a tiny section of flooring at the top of this devastated structure. Carefully hop down from here, heading northwest so you can claim the steamer trunk atop the roof of the Old Corner Bookstore.

[15.03] Bus Wreckage

The main thoroughfare running north to south has an astonishing amount of rubble. This overturned bus stops progress. Climb over it, or check inside for a chem cooler.

[15.04] Commonwealth Bank

Enter this bank via a side alley door, the hole in the southeast corner of the structure, or the skybridge from the parking structure elevator. Inside is a second elevator that takes you to the dizzying heights of the roof. There a plank you use in the specified quest, along with some ammo.

[15.05] Skyscraper Stash

Tucked in a corner by a girder in the remains of the orange skyscraper southeast of Faneuil Hall is a well-hidden skeleton with chems to scavenge. A jetpack jump from the hall roof might be enough to leap across to this location.

[15.06] Elevated Road (West Access)

A small elevated road connects the western edge of the Financial District to the middle of the zone. Be sure to check under the road for points of interest, and approach a small Raider camp that is accessible from the road.

There’s also elevator access to Secondary Location: Water Street Apartments from a plank on a rusting Vault-Tec van in the small southwest tunnel.

[15.09] Railroad Hideout (Financial District)

Just south of the waterlogged junction, where the rubble is piled high, is a narrow brick alley. Use the fire escape to reach a pair of crafting workbenches and a terminal (Novice) for turning off the spotlight. There’s a footlocker up here, too (Advanced), a safe to pick (Expert), and some rather natty formal gear.

[15.10] 35 Court

Evidence of a Protectron massacre is visible as you reach the entrance on the south side of this building. Enter the structure, watching for the tripwire by the desk that activates a Protectron. Ride the elevator to the open-air middle of the structure.

Open the door (Novice) to enter a small office with a safe (Expert). Head up the metal ramp, but beware an ambush when you reach the top. Enter the two side rooms and press the buttons to open a storage pod with Power Armor in it. Nice! Then feel free to leap west, landing on the rooftops north of Postal Square.

[15.11] Rooftop Hideaway (Financial District)

A small hole in the stone building leads to a cubbyhole of chems. Approach using a jetpack from the raised road to the north to get to this tricky-to-reach locale.

[15.12] Pedestrian Underpass

This allows access from the raised road to the north, south to the cluster of buildings. Check under the raised road for a cooking station, which sometimes hosts wandering traders.

[15.13] Parking Garage and Raider Rooftops

Enter the parking structure from the north or south entrances, and work your way up the ramp or concrete stairwell. Continue to the low-rise rooftop with a steamer trunk and Raiders who don’t take well to your trespassing. Scour the roof for additional ammo. To the east (and up) are the remains of a blue metal office tower and the Fallen Skybridge. Approach from the skybridge and drop down if you’re wearing appropriate armor to cushion your falls.

[15.14] Water Street Apartments

This set of run-down apartments has two accessible floors (the upper one is only available during the specified quest). The hangout of a known Raider, this has access from the raised road (via the elevator), but most of the structure’s interior is inaccessible, until the quest is active.
