Fallout 4 eGuide DLC Contraptions Workshop Structures

Warehouse

This new section of the Workshop menu features seven subcategories, each of which offers a variety of warehouse-style structure pieces. While most of these objects support an industrial aesthetic, you’ll find a good number of glass variants that can dramatically change the look of any settlement.

Like the pieces found in Far Harbor’sStructures > Barn submenu, these objects are ideal for larger structures. In fact, warehouse pieces and barn pieces are largely interchangeable. Both subcategories offer a similar selection of oversized walls and sloped roof s capable of accommodating shops, crafting stations, and manufacturing equipment.

New or Expanded Subcategories:

Structures > Warehouse > Prefabs

This subcategory features only one full structure; remaining pieces include prefabricated corners and roof combos that can be very handy during large-scale projects.

Warehouse floors are compatible with most modular structures, allowing you to bring a number of new looks to your settlement’s existing buildings. Offerings include a concrete foundation piece, sturdy grates, and planked floors.

Structures > Warehouse > Walls

This submenu contains an impressive number of stackable wall pieces, most of which are significantly taller than standard wood or metal walls. However, it also features shorter wall sections that can be stacked to match or exceed the height of a typical warehouse wall. Additionally, you’ll find options for gables, extensions, and some oversized doorways (again, much like those found in Far Harbor’s Structures > Barns).

While most warehouse walls feature at least some damage, some of the glass variants are in surprisingly good shape.Warehouse Walls

Structures > Warehouse > Stairs

This subcategory introduces two new sets of stairs: a longer set of steps that matches the height of a typical warehouse wall, and a set that reaches half as far. These items snap to floors and each other, making it fairly easy to add properly-sized set of stairs to virtually any warehouse (or barn).

Structures > Warehouse > Doors

This new submenu offers some standard door variants, and some cosmetically different large doors, but it also contains an oversized powered door. The “Rolling Metal Door” doesn’t require a door frame. Instead, it features its own trim that snaps between appropriately spaced wall segments.

Structures > Warehouse > Miscellaneous

This new subcategory contains two metal posts and a cupola. The posts come in two lengths. The longer post spans the height of a standard warehouse floor; the shorter post stands at only half-height. Both posts are designed to snap into specific points on floor panels, but with a bit of finesse, these items can make for useful gap-fillers.

Similar objects can be found among the Workshop menu’s barn pieces, but the warehouse variants require different components and feature a noticeably different aesthetic.
