Vivre sans aimer n’est pas proprement vivre

This quest has the following prerequisites: You must have completed Side Quests: Vault 81 and Hole in the Wall and have Curie as a companion. After spending some time with her as a Companion, and her gaining affinity for you, she tells you she really wants to become human, or as close to it so she can better pursue her studies.

Companion: Curie

Becoming more human might involve an operation involving the transference of memories. Wasn’t there a specialist inside the Memory Den in Goodneighbor? Find Doctor Amari by:

  • Completing Goodneighbor Freeform Activity: Memory Den.
  • Completing Main Quest: Dangerous Minds.

Doctor Amari is willing to help and even has a synth—G5-19—whose body could potentially be donated for this task. Amari requires a day to set everything up. Return to the Memory Den after 24 hours.

C’est cela l’amour, tout donner, tout sacrifier sans espoir de retour

Head down to the Memory Loungers downstairs. You’re met by G5-19’s caretaker, which is Glory from the Railroad, or another Railroad member if you’ve completed Railroad Quest: Precipice of War. Answer her how you wish.

Tell the caretaker this helps science.
