Fallout 4 eGuide DLC Nuka-World

Weapons

There’s a plethora of new weapons to discover on your travels throughout Nuka-World. Below are some notes regarding the most interesting. Don’t forget to check out the weapons marked with a “*” as they’re really rather great!

Aeternus*: A gatling laser cannon with unlimited ammo capacity thanks to its Never Ending Legendary effect. It will use Fusion Cores to achieve this, though. Useful for crowd clearing. Keep playing Side Quest: Amoral Combat until you pry it from a challenger named the Rogue Knight.

Acid Soaker: For just over 6,000 Nuka-Cade tickets, you can claim this as a prize; which inflicts acid damage on its victims. It’s a modified pistol with poisonous capabilities.

Cito’s Shiny Slugger*: Need a baseball bat with Spiked Rocket and Aluminum mods, and a Relentless Legendary effect? Then complete the Safari Adventure quest.

Commie Whacker*: Are you feeling both patriotic, and the need to inflict additional bleeding damage on your target? Then use this mallet, found in the Nuka-Cade.

Disciples Blade (Throatslicer*): Buy the named variant from Katelyn Alden at Nuka-Town market, then use it to inflict 25 points of bleeding damage on top of the regular melee slicing and dicing!

Fury Grenade: Need to turn enemies on each other? Then use this, which can be acquired from Dixie during Main Quest: Home Sweet Home. She has a recipe for it, too.

Handmade Rifle (Splattercannon* and The Problem Solver*): Enjoy carnage? Then the Splattercannon with the Furious legendary effect can help; increasing the damage for each consecutive hit. Aaron Corbett sells it, at the Nuka-Town market. The Problem Solver (available from Mason during Main Quest: An Ambitious Plan) also shares this feature.

Hub’s Alien Blaster*: Like the Alien Blaster but want your Critical Meter to fill up 15% faster, and critical hits inflict double damage? Then visit the Hubologists and complete Side Quest: Trip to the Stars.

Nuka-Nuke Launcher*: Enjoy wreaking insane havoc using a Fat Man launcher, but wish your nuclear catapult projected Nuka-nukes with 50% more damage? Then finish Side Quest: Cappy in a Haystack.

Nuka Quantum Grenade: Very rare and highly-damaging, the mushroom cloud is both pretty and impressively damaging. Shame there aren’t more to use! Find them in the Project Cobalt base under the World of Refreshment.

Paddle Ball: A hilarious, short-range “gun”, this fires different types of ball, which inflicts different damage. Play around with these at the Nuka-Cade; new balls are accessible every couple of days, and range from the “Rubber” to the “Weaponized Nuka-Cola Quantum”. There are eight ball variants.

Persuasion Grenade: Lizzie Wyath gives you these non-deadly grenades during Main Quest: Home Sweet Home, and they are used to aid in your intimidation of settlers when shoe-horning them off their land so the Raiders can claim an Outpost there.

Predator Grenade: A cute teddy bear belies the explosive power of this grenade that attacks wild animals when thrown. Ostensibly used to remove settlers using Main Quest: Home Sweet Home, grab these from Mason during that quest.

Sword of Wonders*: The crazy Ghoul Oswald of Kiddie Kingdom uses this melee weapon, which ignores 30% of the victim’s damage and energy resistance. If you need it, complete Main Quest: A Magical Kingdom.

Thirst Zapper: This squirt gun you used to defeat Colter during Main Quest: Taken for a Ride is more than just a water pistol; once you uncover Project Cobalt under the World of Refreshment, you can use schematics to modify the water it squirts.

Western Revolver: Though it has a tiny ammunition chamber, this revolver is exceptionally hard-hitting and worth modifying. You’re given it during Main Quest: High Noon at the Gulch.
