Trouble in the Hangar

Super: Recommended (one player)Grenades: RecommendedVariations: Drake tank unavailable, mines on the ramps, additional enemies, elevator control locations may change

Let’s hope you still have use of a Drake tank, as there’s likely to be an enemy Goliath tank waiting as you enter the Legion’s Hold hangar. If you’ve used a Drake tank before (and employ cover as well as both of its weapons), you can destroy it almost immediately, then rake the remaining infantry as you wind your way up the ramps. Better yet, have your teammates concentrate on removing the foot soldier foes en route to the bridge controls. When a second Goliath tank appears on the circular platform, with a Bracus Sub-Boss shortly afterward, vary your attack direction.

Have your Drake tank batter the priority foes from the ground (where the first tank was destroyed) while one of your teammates executes a Super. With good timing, you can inflict massive damage in seconds. Then, stay back as you kill the Bracus brother; sometimes, a pack of War Beasts bounds out of the door behind him.

If you’re approaching on foot, scenery and hard-hitting weaponry are much more important when attacking the tank. Split up on the ground area, and focus all firepower on the tank, then on any foes at ground level. Then, it’s best to ascend to the bridge controls as a group. Watch for mines as you head up the ramp, as well as a possible influx of Fallen. Note that the location console with the bridge controls sometimes varies, so look for the waypoint diamond to confirm where you’re going. The second Goliath is relatively easy to tackle because it can’t drive anywhere (assuming more than one of you is attacking it). Have one player time their Super to both defeat the tank and inflict serious damage on the Sub-Boss.
