The Fortress is a large and varied stage, with some excellent sniping lanes. Regardless of your Power weapon preferences, consider equipping a good scout rifle whenever you visit this map.
Of course, not every location supports long-range combat. The Fortress includes some tight spaces, and many locations feature uneven terrain and plenty of cover options. In most cases, pairing a scout rifle with a short- or mid-range weapon is your best bet.
Much of the map’s border is defined by a large body of water. While you can safely venture into the shallows of Shore and Grotto, open water is most definitely out of bounds.
