Storage Hangar

Super: Not available

Grenades: Optional

As the battle rages on, switch your weapons (to the Energy weapon) and drop two Legionaries using it or melee attacks. After your Ghost illuminates the dark storage hangar, enter this gantry. Here, you’re greeted by a Cabal Centurion and a Cabal drop pod with Legionaries to deal with. Remain on the gantry, concentrate on removing the Centurion’s Solar Shield with your Energy weapon (as your Kinetic weapon is much less damaging to the enemy’s shield), and finish him off with headshots from either of your armaments. Headshots usually result in quicker precision hits and kills. You can easily drop the Legionaries as they slowly jet around the room if you’re still on the upper gantry. Down the sight aiming and melee strikes to finish them are also excellent. Note the second Centurion and a couple more Legionaries as you reach the storage hangar exit.

Main Hangar

Super: Optional

Grenades: Recommended

Head past the Cabal’s command ship and into the large open hangar. Repel a force of Legionaries, and start to try out your Movement Mode (learning to both fire down on foes and reach higher gantry areas). Watch your accuracy while airborne though; your weapons aren’t as stable, even when aiming (until certain Guardian types learn the Angel of Light Perk later). Use cover, especially because there are two Centurions to defeat. If Legionaries are leaping at you with their swords drawn, shoot them and strike them with a melee blow as they land, before their swords can damage you. Once the fracas is over, attempt a powerful class-specific jump (Movement Mode) to the exit gantry.

Head into a half-demolished corridor. Here, you’ll need to crouch (and optionally slide), maneuvering through the fire and sheared-off concrete into a hole and out to the Tower Plaza itself.
