Sector Notes:
Campaign Mission: Spark
Usually Inaccessible
This self-contained area within the European Dead Zone is only accessible during the Campaign Mission: Spark. It involves a hike from a deserted road barricade through a tunnel and grotto (where Fallen Marauders are first encountered). Then, you head out from some old mine workings and down to the Forest Floor area. You pass a ship’s crash site before finally reaching the site of the main piece of Shard itself. It is here that you regain your first Guardian Class Abilities.
Areas of Interest
Deployment Zone and Road Barricade (Inaccessible)
This is inaccessible unless the mission is active. You begin the mission here, on a grassy bank close to the remains of a road into a tunnel, now barricaded.
Overgrown Forest (Inaccessible)
This is inaccessible unless the mission is active. Leap the gap in the road here, or face a climb up the large hole.
Marauders’ Grotto (Inaccessible)
This is inaccessible unless the mission is active. A dark cave tunnel leads to a grotto, where you face Fallen Marauders for the first time.
Abandoned Mine (Inaccessible)
This is inaccessible unless the mission is active. This is where the two Sectors merge; you access your first chest, and gaze out from a balcony overlooking the Shard itself.
Ship Crash Site (Inaccessible)
This is inaccessible unless the mission is active. This entire wooded area has a host of Fallen to contend with, and the majority of the Dregs you encounter scurry out of a hole in front of a crashed ship. Expect further incursions with Marauders, Wretches, and Captains as you progress through the murky forest path.
Shard of the Traveler (Inaccessible)
This is inaccessible unless the mission is active. The Shard site has a good number of Fallen (Dregs, Wretches, Vandals, Marauders, and a Captain), but they are no match for you once you bathe in the light of the Shard itself!
Campaign Mission
Spark
This Campaign Mission takes place entirely in these Sectors, which is the only time you’ll visit them.
