Description
- Power generators in the Red Legion base are open to attack, but only for a short time. Speed into the subterranean complex, and shut them down.
Your first task is to recover three maintenance access codes, which are carried by the various Cabal units scattered across The Gulch. Simply make your way toward the entrance to The Tunnels, and eliminate any hostiles you encounter.
Depending on the level of Guardian activity in the area, you should be able to collect all three keys by the time you arrive. Otherwise, sweep the area for enemy clusters until you complete the objective.
Once you’ve gathered the required maintenance access codes, follow the waypoint toward the Cabal base hidden within The Tunnels.
When you reach the base entrance, clear out the waiting Cabal units, and use the marked device to drop the nearby force field. To push deeper into the base, you must lower a series of force fields by destroying the generators that power them. Be warned that this is a time-sensitive objective. Before you fire a shot at the first generator, make sure you’re satisfied with your loadout.
When you’re ready, shoot the generator. You now have 30 seconds before a base-wide alarm sounds. Press down the corridor, and follow the objective marker to the next generator.
Each generator you destroy adds an additional 30 seconds to the countdown. Try to destroy all five generators (and drop the corresponding force fields) before time runs out. Otherwise, the resulting alarm draws more powerful units into the area.
By the time you reach the end of the corridor, you’ve destroyed five generators. Now you must destroy nine more. The area beyond the corridor
is heavily defended, so avoid straying too far from cover. Eliminate all hostile units as you press your way toward the next objective marker.
Reinforcements arrive throughout the battle, so don’t hesitate to fall back and regroup, especially once Bracus Ja’gad makes an appearance. As an enhanced Centurion, Ja’gad is a serious threat.
Once you’ve secured the area, turn your attention to the remaining generators. Most of these devices are out in the open; simply follow the objective marker, and destroy each of the indicated targets.
After you’ve dealt with the exposed generators, follow the objective markers to a row of shielded pylons. Use the control panels to deactivate each of the force fields, then move back and shoot any revealed generators. Destroy all of the base’s generators to complete the Adventure.
