Perhaps the largest of all the Sectors on this planetoid, it’s one with numerous secrets to uncover. The Cistern features a vast expanse of Radiolarian Fluid, harmful to the touch and deadly if you ride your Sparrow over the waterfall to the south. Instead, search along the winding and open thoroughfare for a Lost Sector and entrance to the Well of Flame at the top of the large cylindrical tower that dominates the southwestern edge of the map. Even farther across the white void to the southwest is the entrance to the Anchor, a Sector you can’t fully explore unless a Strike is active. To the east are main exits to other major Sectors (northeast and southeast), as well as a wall slit to the Pools of Luminance (southeast). Come here for the Fallen and Cabal to cull, and stay for the Public Events.
Areas of Interest
Exit to The Tangle (Northeast)
If you want to simply maneuver from Sector to Sector, just travel south and then southeast from the Tangle to Glade of Echoes, or vice versa. The large, cube-like Vex architecture and top of the hill indicate this exit.
Northeast Junction
This marks the spot where the road continues north (to the Tangle), south (to Glade of Echoes), and west to the remainder of this Sector. Pike Gangs frequent this sloped area, as do Fallen foes.
Main Thoroughfare (East to West)
A long, raised, curved road bisects the two sections of the white lake, with a block-like Vex ruin on the southern side of the path. Note the Region Chest in the vicinity and the road into the northwest promontory.
Northwest Promontory
A circular spit of ground where the Cabal like to summon their injector rig. Cabal are here, and so are several low Vex ruins and a Region Chest.
White Lake (North)
Although your Sparrow can take you to the perimeter of this Sector, there’s little to find that’s north of the promontory.
Mighty Tree (West)
Use this huge red-leafed tree as a landmark as you enter from the main thoroughfare. The tree marks a Secret Public Event, as well as a Lost Sector. Two scannable objects are in the vicinity here.
Tower Pools
The base of the tower has a small squad of Cabal to cull, including Psions and Phalanxes. The area has obstacles and stepping stones, so watch your Sparrow maneuvers. Note the two scannable objects in the vicinity.
Well of Flame Entrance (Southwest)
After you navigate through the Cabal cluster and jump up the huge cube-like Vex architecture to the top of the “steps,” an opening inside this cylindrical tower allows access to the mysterious Well of Flame.
White Lake and Shore (South)
Although the Radiolarian Fluid is dangerous to the touch, you can ride a Sparrow (or Pike) across here with minimal harm. Investigate this shoreline for Fallen foes and a possible Public Event or two. To the south is a rushing waterfall into a white void; don’t head over the edge!
Overhang (East)
A partially covered perimeter section with a well-hidden Region Chest and two clusters of Fallen foes, including invisible Marauders and a Captain to the north. It is parallel to the main road just west of this area.
Pedestal Platforms (Southeast)
This is the Landing Zone for the Sector, where a group of Fallen is milling about. Normally, you’d head here for a possible Patrol beacon. During Strike: The Inverted Spire, though, this is where a series of floating platforms is summoned, leading westward to the Anchor Sector.
Exit to The Anchor (Southeast)
When the Strike: The Inverted Spire is active, an interaction with Vex technology allows you to reach a series of Vex cannons via some floating stepping stones at #11. During normal action, you can drive your Sparrow south from #9 to the corner section of the waterfall and reach a Vex cannon. Then, you propel yourself westward across the waterfall chasm to this ledge. The exit to the Anchor Sector is via another Vex cannon west of this position.
Entrance to Pools of Luminance (Southeast)
This slit in the perimeter wall (with a nearby scannable object you must climb to) allows access into the Pools of Luminance. This is fully accessed during Campaign Mission: Six.
Exit to Glade of Echoes
The far southeastern corner of this Sector features a cliff-top road leading eastward into the Glade of Echoes Sector.
Region Chests
Region Chest 1
Inside the shell of the Vex globe, in the circular promontory.
Region Chest 2
High atop the Vex structure along the main thoroughfare.
Region Chest 3
Tucked in a high alcove along the sloped overhang.
Lost Sectors
The Conflux
Enter this Lost Sector under the large tree on the western side of the Sector. Inside is a large Vex-built chamber hosting a group of Cabal to fight. Their leader is a Sub-Boss Centurion.

Public Events
Public Events (Full)
Glimmer Extraction: This involves destroying three Fallen extraction sites (1A, 1B, and 1C) dotted around the map.
Injection Rig: This lands at the point shown on the map in the large circular promontory (northwest). Expect a hard fight with a Sub-Boss Psion to defeat multiple times, Gladiators toward the end of the battle, and a Centurion (in addition to normal Cabal forces) during the last wave.

Public Events (Secret)
HVT #1 and #2: A Cabal Centurion or a Vex Storm Minotaur appears at one of the eight indicated points (1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, 1F, 1G, or 1H).
Pike Gangs: These events are both easily concluded. They each start and finish at the indicated route points.
Launchers: Defeat the Vex Hobgoblins at each of the indicated cannon positions. Remove threats at 5A, then leap through the cannon to reach 5B, and continue to 5C. Then, mow down the Vex Minotaurs as you work your way around 5A, 5B, and 5C once more (using the cannons each time). Defeat all foes around the cannons before they disappear to claim each chest.
Skirmish: Not shown on the map, this Fallen versus Cabal skirmish is lengthy and features tough targets from both groups.

Enemy Clusters
Cabal
The circular promontory north of the main thoroughfare houses Legionaries, Phalanxes, and Incendiors when there’s not a Full Event active.
Cabal
The shallow pool and ramparts below the Well of Flame tower have Legionaries, Phalanxes, Incendiors, and sniping Psions.
The large, white blocks by the main road junction have Dregs and Vandals for you to worry about.
A Captain and some stealthy Marauders are hiding in the northern part of the overhang on the eastern perimeter.
Expect Vandals, Shanks, and Dregs at the southern end of the overhang on the eastern perimeter.
The shoreline of the southern white lake features Shanks, Dregs, and a Servitor.
Led by a Captain, Vandals, Shanks, and Dregs have invaded the Landing Zone.
