Sector Notes:
Usually Inaccessible
This inaccessible Sector is only entered during the Campaign Mission: Fury. It is the hidden Vex lair known as the Warmind Vault JYS-2, now completely overrun by the Taken. This leads to a mainframe arena where you battle one of the toughest foes on this planetoid: a gigantic Taken Boss known as Modular Upsilon and his energy-chaining partner Modular Sigma. The entrance from Terrabase Charon is usually sealed, and the only other route (during the mission) is via the hole the giant drill has made in the large mining area of that Sector.
Areas of Interest
Entrance from Giant’s Scar (Inaccessible)
This is inaccessible unless the mission is active. Once you’ve raised the colossal drill bit in Giant’s Scar Sector during the mission, drop into this entrance tunnel via an opening on the massive circular side wall.
Warmind Vault (Inaccessible)
This is inaccessible unless the mission is active. Though a Vex vault, the Taken have a stronghold here now, and you fight numerous Goblins, Hobgoblins, and Minotaurs as you breach the mainframe chamber.
Mainframe Arena (Inaccessible)
This is inaccessible unless the mission is active. This location is where you fight the giant Taken Boss and his minion.
Exit to Terrabase Charon (Inaccessible)
This is inaccessible unless the mission is active. If open, a pair of blast doors allows access up the tunnel to the south side of Terrabase Charon.
Campaign Missions
The vast majority of the time spent in this Sector is during the aforementioned Campaign Mission, which is where the recommended tactics and enemy locations are detailed.
