Usually Inaccessible
Perhaps the most awe-inspiring of all the Wells on Nessus, this deep opening into the core of the world is normally only accessible during Campaign Mission: Looped. You reach a strange pyramid-shaped opening from the Sunken Cavern, which in turn leads to a sizable energy elevator, dropping you at a large floating arena. Here, you encounter a large Hydra, and you also attempt to save Cayde-6 for the first time.
Areas of Interest
Exit to Sunken Cavern
Enter via careful jumping across some small ledges and islands above a bottomless void. The entrance is a pyramid-shaped connecting passage.
Well Arena (Inaccessible)
This area is only accessible during the mission. Drop down the energy elevator to the arena itself. Use the many walls and upper platforms on the western side of the arena as your fight with the Hydra progresses. Beware of a large influx of Vex during this battle.
Campaign Mission
Prospect
Battle a Hydra (and completely fail to save Cayde-6) in this chamber. It usually isn’t accessible at any other time.
