Locations and Match Types

Courtyard

Key Location: Courtyard

During games of Clash and Supremacy, Courtyard serves as one of the map’s three sources of Power Ammo. During Control, it contains both a Power Ammo spawn point and Capture Point A.

One of the map’s largest locations, Courtyard features a wide variety of cover options. However, it also has a Cabal launcher and multiple points of entry, making this long strip of land something of a sniping lane.

Courtyard serves as a team starting area, a major movement lane, and a source of Power Ammo in all Quickplay matches. During Control, this location also holds one of the map’s Capture Points.

Bricks

Bricks is a fairly small location, but it features three distinct paths connecting Courtyard to Middle. One of these paths offers a good amount of cover; another is part of a decent sniping lane. The third path is a very narrow strip of land running along the gap’s edge.

Apartment

While this badly damaged building hardly qualifies as a structure, it does offer a good amount of cover for Guardians moving between Courtyard and Middle. It makes for a decent vantage point, and it can be something of a bottleneck during heated skirmishes

Alley

Alley features a narrow passage wedged between an inaccessible building and a small empty structure. It’s a useful flanking route, but it also serves as a popular vantage point for Guardians monitoring Courtyard or Middle.

Middle

Located at the center of the cityscape, the aptly named Middle tends to see a lot of foot traffic over the course of any match. It features some useful cover options, multiple flanking routes, and a short but serviceable sniping lane.

Bridge

Key Location: Bridge

During games of Clash or Supremacy, Bridge features one of the map’s three Power Ammo spawn points.

Bridge serves as a straightforward path between Drill and Middle that features some welcome cover options. During games of Clash or Supremacy, it contains a Power Ammo spawn point.

Drill

Key Location: Drill

During games of Control, Drill contains Capture Point B.

In contrast to the crumbling cityscape across the map, Drill features the industrial aesthetic found in all Cabal facilities. Despite some interior walls and an automated door, this circular platform stands as one of the map’s largest battlegrounds. In games of Control, it also hosts a Capture Point.

Drill is a suitable spot for decisive firefights, but the available launchers support quick transitions in and out of the area. When you need a moment to recover from heavy damage, a quick jaunt into Drill is often your best option.

Office

Key Location: Office

During games of Control, Office serves as one of the map’s two Power Ammo spawn points.

While Office includes a sizable exterior area, it also contains the cityscape’s largest accessible structure. The interior space offers a few bits of cover, multiple points of entry, and a Cabal launcher for quick access to Drill. A low ceiling limits the potential for vertical movement, but Office tends to be a frequently visited area.

During games of Control, Office’s exterior space features one of the map’s Power Ammo spawn points.

Hotel

For what tends to be a heavy-traffic intersection, Hotel is a decent place to recover between firefights. It features a central piece of cover and three points of entry, making it possible to escape from all but the most coordinated of attacks.

Street

Key Location: Street

During games of Clash or Supremacy, Street contains one of the map’s three Power Ammo spawn points.

As a narrow throughway with some nice cover options, Street tends to be a popular flanking route and serviceable sniping lane. During Clash and Supremacy, it’s also a source of Power Ammo.

Shack

As a small structure tucked away in the corner of the map, Shack provides welcome cover from nearby firefights and great lines of sight into adjacent areas.

Cliff

Key Location: Cliff

During games of Control, Cliff contains Capture Point C.

Apart from a few pieces of cover, Cliff is a fairly open exterior space. It typically serves as a team starting area, but during games of Control, it also contains one of the map’s Capture Points.
