Adventure: The Runner

Landing Zone: Available

Material Nodes: Available

Patrol Beacons: 3

Public Event (Heroic): 1

Vendor: Brother Vance

The Lighthouse is of a circular structure, (a consistent symbol of the Vex). The Lighthouse and the Vex gateway into the Infinite Forest are two major focal points. The Vex dome where the Crossroads event takes place being the central focus. Everything surrounds it. Everything is within walking distance.

Flashpoint: Mercury

The compact nature of this area creates havoc when players are completing a lot of the area's events. There’s a high potential for events to clash with each other. When the weekly Flashpoint is located on Mercury, more bosses will add to the havoc.

Along with additional bosses, expect Cayde to send Guardians out with his Treasure Maps. During Flashpoint: Mercury, Xŭr will show up in the Tower.

Areas of Interest

Lower Portal to Lighthouse

Located just below the landing zone on the “ground level”. It goes to the Lighthouse interior just as the Upper Portal does.

Upper Portal to Lighthouse

Located right next to the landing zone for quick access. It goes to the Lighthouse interior just as the Lower Portal does.

The Infinite Forest

The Infinite Forest is a reality simulator. It is the central focus for Adventures, Strikes, Missions, and perhaps more.

Vex Dome Coliseum

The center-most Vex construct. The interior of the dome becomes accessible during the Public Event.

Adventures

The Up and Up

Access this marker near the steps close to the gateway. You can also start this by approaching Brother Vance in the Lighthouse. Stop the Fallen.

A Bug in the System

Access this marker near the steps close to the gateway. You can also start this by approaching Brother Vance in the Lighthouse. The Hive have the attention of the Vex. Wipe them out.

The Runner

Access this marker near the steps close to the gateway. You can also start this by approaching Brother Vance in the Lighthouse. Stop the Cabal by any means, before it’s too late.

Lost Sectors

Pariah’s Refuge

Pariah's Refuge is nestled near the south east, next to the massive Vex gateway. The familiar Lost Sector mark appears upon a block of stone. Walk into a small opening in the rock. After you come out of the pathway, it will open up to a larger Vex terra-formed cavern with pillars and lights. A good number of Vex Goblins and a few Harpies welcome Guardians to enter. They’re bunched up nicely for an effective grenade. The room curves around toward another circular opening. The next area is a more circular room with ominously lit pillars and statues. More Goblins and Harpies are there to greet you. These are more spread out throughout the room leading up to a staircase that leads to a third circular room. This room has the same decor the Followers of Osiris employ, but it appears to have been overrun by Vex. Hobgoblins are firing from platforms above. Goblins and Hobgoblins alike are guarding a Subterranean Mind in a Minotaur-type body.

Enemy Clusters

Cabal and Vex

To the South, near the pillars close to the Vex gateway, are a couple Incendiors and a Centurion that are fighting Hobgoblins and a Centaur.

Cabal

A couple Legionaries and a Centurion a little north west of the Vex gateway.

Cabal

Two Legionaries are with a Phalanx.

Vex

Two Harpies and a Hydra prowl the fountain of Vex milk radiolaria.

Vex

Each side of the arena area has a few Vex Goblins when the Public Event is inactive.

Landing Zone

The Lighthouse

Drop in from Orbit to this reasonably-central location, landing close to the energy elevator, with quick access to both the Tangle (west) and Hallows (east).

Patrols

The Lighthouse (3)

There are three available Patrols in this area: 2 Salvage Missions, and 1 Combat Mission. It is beneficial to pick one up before doing any activities outside the Lighthouse for additional reputation.

Public Events

Public Events (Full)

Vex Crossroads

A gate is opening. Destroy Vex on either side of the dome as they spill from the Vex portals. Slay enough enemies to spawn a Keeper of Ages Unseen. Destroy the Keeper, and gather Arc charges to dunk into the platforms of light, disabling warp gates. Repeat this on the other side of the dome. The Vex gravity cannons will reorient themselves after all the warp gates are disabled. Use the reoriented gravity cannons to launch to either the east or west island to slay another Keeper. Fly back to the dome arena, then repeat the process for the other island. Once all warp gates are down return to the dome for a pitted battle against a Vex Gate Lord while avoiding lesser Vex.
