Sector Notes:
Enemy Clusters: Vex: 2
Material Nodes: Available
Scannable Objects: 2
The pools that this Sector is infamous for consist of pure Radiolarian Fluid, the lifeblood of the Vex. It is harmful to stand on, making accurate jumping more important than normal as you investigate this interior area, accessed via the Vex fissure in the southeastern corner of the Cistern Sector. Inside are several uphill caverns leading to a Luminance Arena where you must face a large cluster of Vex foes. Note that this area is visited (with even more Vex threats) during Campaign Mission: Six. During normal circumstances, hone your Vex-culling talents and gather data on two scannable objects when checking this Sector out.
Areas of Interest
Exit to The Cistern
A metal block corridor enables you to reach this Sector from the Cistern. This is the only way in or out, assuming the Campaign Mission is not active. Note that the initial circular room, which has an upper alcove and a teleport return, leads to a stream.
Radiolarian Stream
A winding stream offers you a chance to perfect your jumping, landing on the rocks rather than the fluid itself. Note the golden alcove to the south that leads to a scannable object.
Radiolarian Cavern
Your first Vex encounter occurs here as you ascend a rocky cavern embankment and old ruins.
Luminance Arena
The majority of your time here is spent battling almost every Vex enemy type, including a Hydra. Note the stepping stones around the base of this arena and the raised platforms across and north, with a scannable object below.
Vex Teleport
The exit corridor usually has Harpies to shoot. It ends at a teleport, which sends you back to the entrance room.
Scannable Objects
Enemy Clusters
Vex
The initial cavern has Goblins, Hobgoblins, Harpies, and a Minotaur for you to contend with.
Vex
The Luminance Arena is filled with foes, though not quite as many as during the Campaign Mission. Expect the usual Goblins and Hobgoblins, along with Harpies and Minotaurs. A Hydra is also active in this area. Note that the white Radiolarian Fluid is harmful, as always. Watch for Harpies as you exit to the teleport chamber.
