Description
- A nasty Fallen Pike Gang is wreaking havoc in the area. Capture enemy vehicles and use them to even the odds.
As soon as the Adventure starts, move to the indicated area and summon a Cabal Interceptor. Only your first two objectives require the use of an enemy vehicle, but its impressive firepower makes the Interceptor a valuable asset for the duration of this Adventure. Make note of the spawn point, and return to claim fresh vehicles as needed.
First, you must use the vehicle to eliminate five enemies. You’ll find plenty of suitable targets scattered throughout the area—just utilize the Interceptor’s weapons until you complete the objective.
Next, you must defeat four enemies by ramming into them. Make good use of the Interceptor’s speed boost. Once you have a target in your sights, charge straight ahead for a devastating blow.
Your next objective leads you to The Gulch. Before you leave Firebase Hades, consider exchanging your vehicle for a fresh Interceptor. When you’re ready, follow the waypoint into The Gulch, and eliminate two Fallen salvage crews.
Keep in mind that salvage crew members may be mixed in among more common enemies. It’s generally best to eliminate all targets in and around the indicated area. If you’ve managed to keep your Interceptor in working order, clearing the area should be a fairly simple endeavor.
Once you’ve eliminated both salvage crews, you need to deal with the salvage crew leader. This priority target is located on a nearby ridge. Just move to the
objective marker, and clear the area. The leader’s crew includes a Servitor, so be ready to dodge some high-damage projectiles.
With the salvage crew leader gone, all that’s left is to defeat a newly arrived Fallen Walker. If your Interceptor is still fit for combat, use it to attack from maximum range. As long as you keep your vehicle in working order, the battle should be over fairly quickly. Otherwise, take cover on the main road, or hunker down on the nearby rocks.
As with any Walker encounter, start by chipping away at the target’s legs. When the vehicle collapses, switch your focus to the exposed core, and deal as much damage as possible before the Walker recovers. Repeat the process as many times as needed to eliminate the salvaged Walker and complete the Adventure.
