Description
- Seize upon the Taken invasion of the EDZ, direct their assault against the Red Legion, and end it before it gets out of control.
Upon starting the Adventure, you’re tasked with using melee attacks to kill 10 Taken units. The objective markers indicate hotspots of Taken activity, so head for the nearest location and get to work. Keep an eye on your health, and retreat or relocate as needed.
Each of your melee kills serves to collect a small amount of Taken essence. Once you’ve gather the required amount, you must travel to The Gulch and distribute the essence throughout Cabal territory. To do this, simply visit each of the four objective markers scattered around the region.
You’re bound to encounter considerable resistance, but you’re free to engage or avoid Cabal attackers as you see fit. Shoot, run, or ride your way to all four locations to receive your next objective.
Once in place, the essence causes Taken Blights to pop up around the area. Just follow the objective marker to find each Blight as it appears. A group of Taken guards each location. While you’re free to focus on the Blights, it’s generally best to deal with hostile units first.
As troublesome as Taken Vandals can be, Taken Contrivers will likely be the most dangerous enemies you’ll find guarding a Blight. These units are essentially enhanced Centurions, so be ready to shoot down incoming Axion Darts.
After you destroy a Blight, follow the objective marker to your next target. Eliminate four Blights to complete the Adventure and collect your reward.
