Description
  • Infiltrate the Red Legion base and disable their network of flak turrets.

This Adventure involves some key items held by priority targets. Your first objective marker leads you to a Turret Mechanic. Eliminate this unique Psion

(along with any other nearby enemies), and collect the Red Legion intelligence it drops.

Once the data is in your possession, you must infiltrate Legion’s Anchor. Follow the objective marker to the vehicle bay along the west edge of Firebase Hades. Clear the room, hop into the duct at the far wall, and follow the passage to the next area. As you exit the duct, follow the objective marker to the right. Hop onto the stacked crates, and jump through the overhead hatch to find the passage to Legion’s Anchor. When you’re ready, move to the end of the passage and drop down to engage the waiting enemies.

Soon after you enter Legion’s Anchor, an objective marker appears over a named Psion. Defeat this enemy and collect the security access code it drops. After you secure the room, follow the objective marker to push deeper into the Cabal base.

The waypoint leads to a ledge overlooking the turret platform. However, before you can reach the flak turrets, you’ll need to acquire another security code. After the objective updates, follow the waypoint, and eliminate the named Centurion. Collect the security access code, use it to deactivate the force field, and head outside.

You must now destroy seven flak turrets. The process is a bit complicated, so follow the objective markers to complete each step in order. Each turret has a weak point in the power supply, and each of these weak points is protected by a force field. You must hack a total of five consoles to expose the weak points of all seven turrets.

Of course, the flak turrets are heavily defended. Not only will you face an impressive number of Cabal units, you’ll also find a fair amount of named enemies peppered among the standard variants. Prioritize your targets accordingly, and consider clearing the bulk of the area before you deal with the flak turrets.

Each console that you hack drops at least one force field. Look for the objective markers indicating vulnerable power supplies, and then use your preferred weapon to destroy them.

Once you’ve destroyed the first four flak turrets, drop down to the nearby footbridge, and follow the objective markers to the remaining targets. You’ll find plenty of fresh enemies waiting on the next platform, so make sure you’re ready for a fight.

Secure the area, hack the indicated console, and destroy the remaining turrets. Be warned that your actions will draw more foes into the area.

After you disable all seven of the turrets in Legion’s Anchor, you must destroy two generators. You’ll find one generator located below each of the nearby Goliath tanks. Check your weapons, shoot the generators, and brace yourself for the enemy response.

Destroying the generators draws a sizable group of Cabal units, but Mechanic Overseer Vaz’zar is easily the squad’s most dangerous member. Eliminate this named Centurion, collect its security access code, and follow the objective marker back inside the base.

The objective marker leads to an overhead junction box. Step back and destroy this device to trigger a destructive chain reaction. Wait for the objective to update, then follow the waypoint back to Firebase Hades.

Your final objective demands that you disable the firebase’s main gun. Simply follow the objective marker and use the indicated panel to complete the Adventure.
