Locations and Match Types

Fuel

Key Location: Fuel

During games of Clash or Supremacy, Fuel contains one of the map’s three Power Ammo spawn points. In Control, this location holds both a Power Ammo spawn point and Capture Point A.

Fuel is a large interior space with three points of entry and some excellent cover options. It typically serves as a team starting area, but Fuel also tends to be a strategically important location during Quickplay matches. It’s a source of Power Ammo during Clash and Supremacy. In games of Control, it holds Power Ammo and one of the map’s Capture Points.

Glass

Glass is a relatively small area, but it stands as a popular flanking route and sniping point. The central pillar is a nice bit of cover, giving a well-positioned Guardian an excellent line of sight into Fuel.

Inner Ring

Key Location: Inner Ring

During games of Clash or Supremacy, Inner Ring contains one of the map’s three Power Ammo spawn points.

Connecting to five adjacent areas, Inner Ring tends to be a heavily used movement lane, especially in Quickplay matches. During games of Clash and Supremacy, Inner Ring serves as a source of Power Ammo. In Control, this corridor is the only route to and from the map’s neutral Capture Point.

Station

Key Location: Station

During games of Control, Station contains Capture Point B.

Station is a fairly small location, but it’s a useful vantage point with a good amount of cover. During games of Control, this raised platform contains Capture Point B. Station’s size and shape make it particularly vulnerable to splash damage, and a coordinated attack can limit potential escape routes.

Rocket

Key Location: Rocket

Whenever a round of Survival enters overtime, a tie-breaking Capture Point appears in Rocket.

Located in the heart of the facility, Rocket tends to be a frequent setting for large-scale firefights. The central components serve as one massive piece of cover, there’s no ceiling to worry about, and the adjacent areas allow Guardians to advance and retreat as needed.

Rocket is a particularly important location during Survival matches. Whenever a round enters overtime, a Capture Point appears just inside of this area.

Stairs

Running between Generators and Outer Ring, Stairs is a fairly straightforward flanking route. Like any confined space, it’s also a good spot for ambushing overly aggressive opponents.

Generators

Key Location: Generators

During games of Control, Generators contains one of the map’s two Power Ammo spawns.

Generators is a large interior space divided by some sizable pieces of cover. It contains multiple flanking routes and some useful vantage points, making it a popular location for Guardians monitoring Rocket and Outer Ring. During Control, Generators also serves as a source of Power Ammo.

Outer Ring

Outer Ring is a major movement lane, but due to its open layout, it’s also a popular battleground. Any skirmish that breaks out in or around Rocket is bound to make its way into Outer Ring at one point or another.

Pipes

Pipes is a small but important hallway that connects Fuel and Rockwall to Outer Ring. It’s a nice spot for short-range combat, and it serves as an excellent vantage point for Guardians monitoring adjoining locations.

Rockwall

As the map’s smallest exterior area, Rockwall is more frequently used as a movement lane than a battleground. It’s wide enough to allow for evasive maneuvers, and it’s a useful vantage point, but it doesn’t offer much in the way of cover.

Deck

Deck is sizable exterior space with a fair amount of open ground and great lines of sight into adjoining areas. Of course, this also makes the location susceptible to long-range fire from multiple directions. It’s a useful vantage point, but positioning is important. Take advantage of the limited cover, and favor brief visits to avoid being flanked.

Center

Key Location: Center

During games of Survival, Center contains the map’s only Power Ammo spawn point.

Center consists of an outdoor platform connected to an interior corridor. It’s something of a chokepoint, but it does offer a decent amount of cover for a location its size. During Survival, Center also serves as the map’s only source of Power Ammo.

Pad

Key Location: Pad

During games of Clash or Supremacy, Pad contains one of the map’s three Power Ammo Spawn points. In Control, this location contains Capture Point C.

Pad is a large exterior location that typically serves as a team starting area. While there is a bit of cover in the center of the area, this space features a fairly open layout surrounded by some very effective vantage points. During games of Clash and Supremacy, Pad also serves as a source of Power Ammo. During Control, this location contains Capture Point C.
