Loadout Recommendations

This Adventure takes you to a number of Fallen-controlled areas. Prioritize Arc damage to help deal with troublesome Energy Shields. Some of the related battles take place in wide-open areas, so try to equip at least one mid- to long-range weapon.

When the Adventure starts, follow the objective marker and place a beacon within the indicated area. This is just the first step in boosting Hawthorne’s signal; there’s a lot of work yet to be done, and it starts with neutralizing the Fallen response.

The amplified signal draws a number of additional enemies into the area. To progress the Adventure, you must eliminate four of the newly arrived Zealous Vandals. Keep in mind that you’re also likely to find at least a few standard Vandals lurking in the area. It’s generally best to neutralize all nearby threats, but only Zealous Vandals will count toward your objective.

Once you’ve dealt with the Zealot Vandals, follow the objective marker out of Trostland and into Outskirts. Move to the indicated area, and plant another beacon to further amplify Hawthorne’s signal.

Once the second beacon is in place, it becomes clear that the Fallen are jamming the signal. Follow the waypoint into the nearby building, and fight your way into the back room. Destroy the indicated jamming device, then search the surrounding buildings for similar contraptions. Once you’ve destroyed at least three jamming devices, you’re free to pursue your next objective.

The next objective marker leads you across the bridge and into Sojourner’s Camp. The area is crawling with Fallen units, so show up ready to fight. You’ll find the typical mix of Dregs, Shanks, and Vandals scattered throughout the clearing. Eliminate all present threats.

Once you’ve secured the clearing, move to the indicated area, and plant another beacon. Doing so triggers a significant Fallen response, so prepare yourself for a lengthy encounter.

Respawning Restricted

When you plant the beacon, Sojourner’s Camp becomes a designated Restricted Zone.

Soon after you plant the final beacon, the Sojourner’s Camp is overrun with wave after wave of Fallen units. Fresh enemies are dropped directly into the battlefield, so use the motion tracker to keep tabs on new arrivals. Know that a formidable enemy appears toward the end of the battle; consider saving your Super Ability and any available Power Ammo for the encounter’s finale.

It can take quite a while to clear out the rank and file, but once you do, a powerful Captain enters the fray. If your Super Ability is available, consider using it now. Otherwise, use Arc damage to quickly disable the Captain’s shield, and then follow up with the most powerful weapon at your disposal. Defeat the Captain and any remaining Fallen units to complete the Adventure.
