Sector Notes:
Partially Inaccessible
The dominant structure in the southeastern part of the Cistern is a large cylindrical tower. Bound up the side of it to enter the Wall of Flame. This is a Vex temple of some description, but the main arena chamber is inaccessible under normal conditions (only during the Adventure: A Tale of Two Confluxes is it available to enter). There’s a slightly convoluted method of getting in and out of this place (which is only accessible via the Cistern), with multiple chances to use Vex teleports depending on how far into the well you want to descend.
Areas of Interest
Exit to The Cistern
This shining Vex entrance is atop a series of large block steps around the exterior of the structure, accessed in The Cistern. This is the only way in or out.
Initial Well Drop
The initial chamber is circular, with a deep well hole in the middle. Drop down to reach a small lower dead-end cavern with a Vex portal (#3) and a teleport back to the surface (#5).
Vex Portal
Utilize the Vex portal, and you warp into an adjacent chamber with access down to the Flame Arena entrance itself. Under normal circumstances, this is sealed with a barrier, forcing you up some rough steps to another Vex teleport (#5).
Flame Arena (Inaccessible)
This area is inaccessible unless Adventure: A Tale of Two Confluxes is active. This is where you battle a host of foes, but under normal conditions, you can only peer into this place from the energy barrier.
Vex Teleports and Exit
When you want to leave, use any of the three white glowing teleports on the ground in areas #2, #3, or #4. All warp you to an upper alcove on the edge of the initial drop chamber, just north of the exit.
