Destiny 2 eGuide Strikes Exodus Crash

Glade of Echoes

Nessus, Unstable Centaur

Enemies Encountered
FALLEN: Dregs, Vandals, Captain, Assault Walker, Giant Shank, Shanks
Objectives
  • Hunt the Fallen (continued).
  • Defeat the Assault Walker.

Entrance to EX-077 Command: Tank Battle

Super: Recommended

Grenades: Recommended

Variations: Additional Heavy Shanks.

Attack the Walker by shooting its cockpit head or any of its legs until it slumps forward and exposes its orange glowing “neck” engine interior. Blast that to inflict heavy damage. Repeat this plan until one of you explodes. During this time, expect Shanks to be summoned, but these aren’t particularly troublesome.

If you aren’t using Pikes, split your team so everyone attacks from three disparate angles. You have enough cover and jumping room to ensure that this Walker is taken down easily, and one of you can try a Super if the battle is lasting too long.

Enter the circular fuselage structure the Walker was guarding. There’s no need to waste time clearing the area of other foes; you must now fight to the source of the new Fallen tech.

Hopefully, you’ve apprehended enough Pikes for each team member (some empty Pikes sometimes appear nearby, so look for them), and you’re boosting downhill toward the giant fuselage wreckage to engage in combat with a Fallen Walker, flanked by a giant Shank. While there are pockets of Fallen resistance (usually infantry) throughout this Sector, it isn’t imperative to cull every single one of them. Concentrate on removing the Shanks, then peppering the Walker with Pike fire. Though the damage isn’t that impressive, the rapid fire and extra protection this vehicle gives you is advantageous, especially because you can save your ammo and Supers for the Boss battle to come.
