When you first visit Techiix, look for the sniper out on the platform on the ice lake in front of the daar. He’s not very talkative until you help him out. Drive a little northeast of his position, remaining on the ice lake. Check out the map and drive to the navpoint just north of Techiix (1), where the tire tracks first appear in the snow on the lake.
Exit the Nomad and, for kicks, look down through the ice for a chance to see the Architect swimming beneath the surface. Pull up the scanner and search for the cloaked Wraith in the area indicated on your map. As soon as you find it and execute a good scan, the distant sniper takes it out. Now you can go speak to Orev (2), the mystery sniper on the platform, if you wish. You can brag about defeating an Architect, if you’ve done so by this point.
