Nexus: Hydroponics
Speak to Dr. Camden (1), who’s standing near the tree just outside the Vortex in Nexus hydroponics. He’s a rude man who snaps at you for creating an unbalance in the air-breathers-to-air-mix ratio on the Nexus. During the conversation, he asks if you could help him by bringing him samples of Andromeda’s plant life. He adds that payment and his thanks would be included.
Collect 10 Plant Samples
Eos
Neolecta Riftia
You’re tasked to find 10 plant samples and to search near the suggested navpoints for appropriate specimens to harvest. You can find Heleus flora (2) classified as Neolecta Riftia (an edible plant) near some rocks on the southeast side of the lake, near Site 2: Resilience.
Havarl: Central Wilds
Lactarius Assefa
This plant (3) can be difficult to locate using the navpoint, especially if you don’t know what you’re looking for. It’s on a hill near a tree. Look for the mushroom in our shot; another giveaway is the nickel mineral right next to it. Scan it. Pick it up.
Sargania Fructanis
Scan the Sargania Fructanis (4), and don’t forget to pick it up. It’s found at the top of a hill in a nook created by three adjoined city walls.
Voeld
Cardacha Cthonis
Find this new plant specimen in the vegetation cave in the back of Techiix. Scan the Cardacha Cthonis (5) and pick it up.
Elaaden
Lagenaria
Find the Lagenaria (6) in a little oasis with an outpost building in the shade. The target plant looks like a large onion and is next to a boulder, under a tree on the edge of the oasis. If you venture into the building, there’s an “Update” datapad in the outpost that mentions Isabel Halsey from the quest “The Rebel.” In case you haven’t found her, this is another lead.
Amanita Jatanum
Find and scan this Amanita Jatanum (7) in the same cave where you find a memory trigger. Battle the Fiends and Eiroch inside to get to this plant.
Kadara
Rhaum Taelkarum
Find the Rhaum Taelkarum (8) in the acid pools just outside the warden’s office in the slums. You’re there during “Counting Bodies.” It’s on an island near one of the sunken, quickly deteriorating dead bodies.
Nereocystis Hamonia
Find the Nereocystis Hamonia (9) on the far side of the acid pool from where the future Initiative outpost will be settled in Sulfur Springs.
Diplazium Dizone
Find the Diplazium Dizone (10) in Draullir near a rock formation on a hill.
Ruberia Majora
Find the Ruberia Majora (11) on one of the hard-surface areas of the shallow acid pool.
Return to Dr. Camden at Nexus Hydroponics
Nexus: Hydroponics
Once you’ve collected 10 of the plants from the locations we’ve mapped, head to the Nexus commons and speak to Dr. Camden (1) in hydroponics. You earn a good amount of XP by completing this quest.
