When you happen upon this tall sniper’s outpost (1), defeat all the Adhi guarding the grounds and then take out the Collective Sharpshooters.
Examining the datapad on the crate at the base of the sniper’s nest starts the quest. Apparently an Outlaw has pitted the Collective and Outcasts against each other to steal supply caches. To further the quest, you must find more datapads containing information about an Outcast member being held for ransom by the Collective.
The Datapad Locations Are RandomA quest that asks you to find something without a navpoint usually means the search objective is spawning at a random location. These spawn at little wreck sites, little enemy camps, or Remnant sites. We mark where we’ve found them. |
Search for More Datapads
The little outposts or camps where these datapads show up are not random, but the datapad locations themselves are. They could be at any number of these camps, such as the one where you found the first datapad, and this little camp (2) down the road.
Defeat this outpost (3) on the westernmost road in Sulfur Springs. There’s usually a datapad to examine here.
If you’re still looking for datapads and they’re not at the previously mentioned sites, try the wrecks and enemy camps on the other side of the map, around Spirit’s Ledge locations (5)(6).
Go to the Navpoint
Head to the navpoint (4) in the northeast section of Sulfur Springs. When you reach it, you see a small camp and an obstacle course of embattlements. Prepare for land mines in this area.
Investigate the Bodies
Stick close to the large shipping container outpost. Keep away from pinging land mines. Scan the bodies on the ground on your way into the shipping container.
Read the Datapad
Open the container inside, and then explore the other side of the shipping container, where the navpoint leads to a body with a datapad lying beside it. Read the datapad. The letter is from Narisse. She admits to stealing the loot while everyone was distracted during a firefight. That completes the quest.
