Pick Up Lexi’s Serum
Elaaden: The Paradise
After completing “The Mind of an Exile,” where you scanned multiple scavengers to give Lexi the data she needed for her research project, give her some time to come up with results. Then this mission begins. Lexi develops a serum that may hold off the symptoms of neural decay that several scavengers are experiencing. All she needs is the perfect test subject.
Begin by picking up the serum inside the Paradise (1). You find it on the shelf Velonia is facing. Over comms, Lexi says she’d like to test this serum on a live subject, but you need a good candidate.
Scan Scavengers to Find a Test Candidate
Start by scanning everyone inside the Paradise, and listen as Lexi shoots down each candidate. The quickest way to complete this quest is to go straight to the correct subject, which is not random—it’s always the same guy. Head outside and make your way to the west end of the covered path (the opposite end of the forward station). Scan the scavenger (2) standing near the parking lot. Lexi confirms this guy is perfect and suggests you ask him nicely if he’ll be a test subject for the new serum.
Talk to the Scavenger
Talk to the raving scavenger. You tell him you have some medicine that will make him feel better. He refuses it; he feels better than he ever has. Tell him either that he can have his life back, or that the serum will repair his mind. He still refuses. Finally, you can choose between asking nicely one more time (select “If you say so”), and forcing him to take it (select “Don’t be stupid”). He takes it if you choose the latter. Either way, the mission ends successfully.
