Mass Effect: Andromeda Collector's Edition eGuide Secondary Ops

The Rebel

Mission Type: Heleus Assignment: Elaaden

Prerequisite: Unlock Elaaden

Start Location: Elaaden

Unlocking: Talk to Kent Halsey

Speak with Kent Halsey

Elaaden: Paradise Sands

Find Kent Halsey (1) with Nexus security, standing on the catwalk near the shuttle docks in Paradise Sands. He reports that no security issue brought him to Elaaden; rather he’s searching for his missing sister, Isabel. Agree to help him find his sister to take the quest.

Speak with Velonia

Enter the Paradise and speak to Velonia; she’s standing in a corner near a window and a side exit to the right as you enter the front door. Among plenty of other information you can pull from her, she can tell you what she knows about Isabel Halsey. Velonia hasn’t met her, but has heard scavengers mentioning her time being limited and something about a cave out on the dunes. She gives you a navpoint.

Find Isabel Halsey

Sea of Ataraxia

You’ve uncovered information regarding Isabel Halsey’s whereabouts. She was last seen in a cave on the dunes. In the Sea of Ataraxia, follow the next mission navpoint (2) to the cave in question. Leap out of the vehicle and defeat the outlaws and Adhi in the small camp in front of the cave.

You can scan escape pods and a generator (which you can deactivate). Enter the mouth of the cave (you can drive the Nomad in).

Speak to Isabel Halsey, who’s standing in front of an outpost inside the cave. Convince her to leave, as her brother misses her. She’s very happy being away from the Nexus, so it’s a tough sell. If you want her to leave, don’t select “Fine, stay here” in the first conversation. If reminded about “family” in the last conversation option, she decides to leave the Outlaws.

If you tell her, “This won’t last,” you head down a road that ends with her refusing to leave. Either way, you complete the mission here in this cave. No matter the outcome, the reward is the same: a little AVP and +2% Elaaden Viability. Raid the outpost before you leave; there’s a container inside and another on the rooftop. You can talk to Kent about the mission later if you wish, next time you’re at the Paradise.
