Speak to Suvi
Tempest
Exhaust all conversations with Suvi (1) until she talks about the Tempest carrying about 70 kilos of extra mass. Agree to help her by using your omni-tool to discover why there’s extra weight.
Scan Rooms on the Tempest for Anomalies
Airlock
Don’t leave the bridge. Instead, head into the loadout station room (2) and continue into the airlock room. Scan the back wall to acquire the Airlock Structural Scan. Not the source of the extra weight. Move on.
Research
Head to the research room while remaining on the second level. Aim your scanner to the ceiling above the Vidcon meeting room on the third level to acquire the Meeting Room Structural Scan(3). Not it. Move on.
Cargo Bay/Armory
Head down to the first floor and into the storage room. On the left side beyond the Nomad is the armory (where Jaal can often be found). With your scanner on, you can see something glowing on the floor above as you enter, but that’s not the target. Instead, enter the armory (4) and scan the back-left wall to acquire the Armory Structural Scan.
The scan reveals there’s a construction mech welded right into the hull. Scanning triggers an audio file. Kallo radios you to say he thinks he knows why the mech is there. Go meet him on the bridge.
Speak to Kallo
Speak to Kallo (5) on the bridge. He explains that the mech was put there by the ship’s lead designer, Lucille Diawara. She wore the construction mech after breaking her back on the job. The audio log is a thank-you message to the Pathfinders; the mech is her artist’s signature. Choose to keep it where it is, or donate the found equipment. You earn 29 AVP for completing this mission and 380 XP.
